800 people showed their support for the fight against Epilepsy in the Quad Cities.

The non-profit organization, Ribbons for Kellsey, held its annual Candy Bar Bingo Benefit at The Stern Center in Rock Island on Saturday, February 28th, 2015.

The group was created when 9-year-old Kellsey McGuire from Milan, Illinois was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2007.

Organizers say this year's event was their biggest one yet.

"It just shows the support our family has," said Brandi McGuire, Kellsey's Mom. "It also shows the community's support for people with Epilepsy and wanting to make a difference. We just live in such a great community and such a giving community."

All of the money raised at the event will be given to local children with Epilepsy who need medication, seizure alert dogs, and/or special pillows.
