Moline Municipal Services General Manager Doug House says that crews are pre-treating streets in the city, in preparation for the area's next snowstorm on Wednesday, February 25, 2015.
Earlier this month, the city's mayor Scott Raes apologized for the department's response to the last snow storm. Wednesday, Moline's Parks Department Operations Manager Rod Schick, said that this snow storm should be easier to manage. The storm earlier this month started on the weekend, and not during the week.
Truck drivers out Wednesday morning, say the conditions on the roads are good so far, but they're ready for the bad weather that's supposed to come.
