Moline based Deere and Company will name its annual board of directors at its stockholders' meeting on Wednesday, February 25, 2015.
The company blames a reduced demand for agricultural machinery, as a reason for the drop off. Regardless, the company's first quarter earnings still beat Wall Street's expectations.
Wednesday's meeting comes just a month after Deere announced 900 indefinite layoffs in Iowa and Illinois. Nearly 50 of those layoffs came from Harvester Works in East Moline. Wednesday's meeting starts at 10 a.m. at World Headquarters in Moline.
