Beth Hurst was last seen walking near her home, in the area of Central Park and Genesis East Hospital in Davenport, Iowa at about 8 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015.

Hurst, 42, was scheduled to work at Genesis East Medical Center on Sunday, February 22, but did not show up for work according to information from the Quad Cities Missing Persons Network. “It is believed she has a cell phone with her, but calls to the phone have gone unanswered,” the QCMPN post said. Hurst took her purse and money with her, but she does not drive and customarily walks to work.

“Beth is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, and wears glasses.  She has shoulder length auburn hair and brown eyes.  Beth was last seen wearing yoga pants, a camel colored V- neck sweater, and long dark maroon coat, along with boots that are brown on the lower half and black on the upper half,” according to Davenport Police Captain Dale Sievert.

“The family has called her friends and other family members, but no one has seen her,” the QCMPN post said. There was some concern that she could be traveling to Cincinnati where some family members live.

Her family thought Hurst might also travel to South Carolina, where her parents have a house and condo, according to an update QCMPN posted Wednesday, February 25, 2015.

Anyone with information about Beth Hurst was asked to call the Davenport Police Department at 563-326-7979 or call 911.
