Quad Citians have the opportunity to express how they feel about where they live with a new survey open to the community.

The survey, aimed to develop a long-term vision for the region, has 32 questions and takes anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes to complete depending on how much you have to say.

Among those there are basic questions about yourself, such as your employment status and if you have children in school.  Other questions are asking your opinion on what it’s like to live, work, visit and go to school in the Quad Cities.

“We believe that every person is an expert about the place in which they live and work,” says the intro to the survey. “We want to hear your perspectives on the Quad Cities’ challenges and opportunities.”

Not all of the questions require you to answer.

“[If] there is a question you feel is not applicable to you, please respond “No Opinion” or “Don’t Know,” or simply skip the question.”

The survey was created by a task force with the QC Regional Vision. All submissions are kept confidential, according to the Quad Cities Chamber.

The committee hopes to get input from 2,000 residents. The survey closes Friday, March 13.
