Two cars were hit when a vehicle ran a stop light near downtown Rock Island.
A black car heading south on 24th Street blew a red light at the intersection of 5th Avenue after Rock Island Police had attempted to pull the car over at 4th Avenue, according to Rock Island Police. When the black car ran the red light it struck two other vehicles traveling on 5th Avenue.
The collision happened before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015.
Deputy Chief Jason Foy said the driver of the black car was arrested for driving with a revoked license and for possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis.
Police said nobody was injured.
