If anyone’s earned an all-expenses-paid surprise trip to Disney World, it’s probably Griffin Miller and his family.
At just 13-years-old, the Rapids City teenager has been battling brain cancer and is now losing his eyesight.
Saturday, though, that battle landed on the back-burner as Miller received a surprise trip just before the first groups teed off in Tudi’s Tribe’s 13th annual Putt Putt Challenge at Oakwood Country Club.
“I had no idea!” Miller exclaimed afterwards.
Tudi’s Tribe, a QC-based cancer support network for kids and families fighting pediatric cancer, had raised enough money to send the Millers on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Florida.
“I was really excited,” Miller told News 8 afterwards. “I can’t wait– this is going to be really fun.”
