As open enrollment for the Illinois Health Marketplace comes to a close, more help is available for those trying to sign up.

In preparation for the February 15th deadline, The Project of the Quad Cities/Get Covered Illinois is holding 24-hour access for questions and to help sign up.

Up until midnight on February 15 licensed counselors available for around-the-clock assistance by telephone to Rock Island County residents.  Anyone who hasn’t gotten qualified health coverage or who have questions about the Affordable Care Act are invited to call.

The number is 309-269-9306.

If you do not have qualified health insurance, the penalty in 2015 is $325 per uninsured adult or 2% of your income – whichever is larger.
