It's been ten years since the murder of Adrianne Reynolds, and family and friends will mark it with a vigil outside the school where she met her killers.

"I think they planned on beating the hell out of her and it just got way out of hand. I just don't believe they went there with murder on their mind", said Tony Reynolds, Adrianne's adoptive father.

"They" are Sarah Kolb and Cory Gregory, the former classmates at Blackhawk Outreach Center in East Moline.

Kolb is now 26 and serving 48 years for murder. Gregory is 27 and serving 40 for the killing.

Time has not paved the way for forgiveness. Adrianne's body was cut up and burned to try and conceal the crime. Kolb and Gregory enlisted the help of then 16 year old Nate Gaudet to help carry out the dirty work.

"There ain't no way in hell I could forgive them. I ain't gonna lie. I'd be lying big time. Who could?", said Reynolds.

Gaudet died in 2012, ironically, in a fiery car crash in Indiana.

"I remember telling him one time, I hope you burn in hell. When that happened, I said, well maybe God couldn't wait", he said.

Reynolds says he hopes people turn out to remember what happened that day on January 21, 2005.  The vigil will be held outside the Blackhawk Outreach Center on Avenue of the Cities on Wednesay at 7pm.

"I hope they'll be a lot of people. Maybe some of her teachers, somebody out of the blue. I don't want people to forget her", he said.
