After a man was shot in Clinton, Iowa police are looking for information about the incident.
The man said he was shot on the north end of Clinton and was taken to an area hospital for treatment, said Sergeant Colin Reid with the Clinton Police Department.
Reid said the hospital caring for the man notified Clinton Police of the situation around 9 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015.
The injured man’s wound was not life threatening, according to Reid.
Police continue to investigate the situation and anyone with information is urged to contact Clinton Police. Their number is listed as 563-243-1458.
