Police said a 45-year-old Moline, Illinois man died when he was hit by a vehicle as he tried to cross John Deer Road at 60th Street.
The wreck was reported just before 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2015 at the intersection that provides access from John Deere Road to homes, Menards, Blain’s Farm and Fleet and to Green Valley Park.
Michael N. Kohrs died of multiple traumatic injuries according to Rock Island County Coroner Brian Gustafson.
Kohrs was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said no charges were expected to be filed in connection with the wreck.
