Scott County investigators say they’ve found several handbags and wallets that were likely stolen, and they’d like to find the owners.
“The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a theft investigation, and during the course of the investigation we have recovered what we believe is stolen property,” said a statement from the sheriff’s office issued Friday, December 12, 2014.
“We unfortunately do not have reports of the items being stolen and we are requesting assistance from the community in helping to identify the owners,” the statement said.
