When it was attacked by two falcons, an owl ended up in Lake Michigan with little choice but to swim.
Chicago-area photographer and birder Steve Spitzer said the owl was forced into the water by two Peregrine Falcons.
Spitzer captured video of the owl as it swam to shore and as it rested up from the ordeal on the beach at Loyola Park.
