Former soccer coach at Rock Island High School, Conan Dalton, passed away after a battle with brain cancer.
Dalton passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014. He had been diagnosed with brain cancer once before and was battling a second round of the disease when he died.
In his memory, Amy Kent, the President and Cofounder of the Rock Island Futbol Club, is organizing a fundraiser for his family. The event is called Kicks for Conan.
The fundraiser will be over the span of two days: December 27 and 28 at The River’s Edge. It will include soccer games, a silent auction, and more.
Funeral arrangements are to come.
