Investigators said no foul play was suspected after the body of a woman was found in a wooded area near Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison, Illinois.
The discovery was made Tuesday afternoon, November 25, 2014. Deputies got the call about a possible body in the woods just north of the cemetery at about 3 p.m.
“Deputies found a deceased older female lying in the snow,” according to a statement from the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office.
An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday, November 26.
The woman’s name was withheld pending notification of her next-of-kin.
