For health reasons, Cher has cancelled the rest of her tour, including a concert that was scheduled in the Quad Cities.

The pop star cancelled a rescheduled concert at the iWireless Center in Moline, Illinois for January 19, 2014; the show was originally set for October 22, 2014.

The announcement that the rest of Cher’s “Dressed to Kill” tour was cancelled came in November, 2014. From March to July she completed 49 sold-out concerts. According to a spokesperson from Liz Rosenberg Media, after a scheduled break in July, Cher suffered an infection that affected her kidney function just before continuing her tour in September.

Rescheduled concerts have been cancelled. Cher’s doctors are recommending the singer take extra time off to ensure a complete recovery. There were almost 30 shows were left in her tour.

“I am totally devastated. Nothing like this has ever happened to me,” Cher said.  “I cannot apologize enough to all the fans who bought tickets.  I’m so proud of this show. It is my best ever. I sincerely hope that we can come back again next year and finish what we started.”

If you bought tickets, refunds will be available at point of purchase.
