An elderly woman diagnosed with dementia and a brain tumor was found in Wisconsin after having been reported missing in north-central Illinois.

Joan F. Sherman, 76, was last seen at 9 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at her Belvidere, Illinois home. Illinois State Police said she made a purchase at a Janesville, Wisconsin grocery store two days later on Friday, November 14.

Police announced Sunday, November 16 that she was located in Janesville.

Sherman has dementia and has a diagnosed brain tumor, police said. She was described as white, with green eyes and brown hair, standing about 5-feet, 3-inches tall, and 128 pounds. She had been last seen wearing a black jacket, light colored sweatshirt, and blue jeans.

Her vehicle is a 4 door 2003 Blue Saturn L200. It has Illinois plates with number R376774.
