Two teenagers were arrested in Dixon, Illinois charged with armed robbery.

The teenage boys, ages 16 and 17, were arrested Thursday, November 13, 2014 in the 300 block of Lincoln Statue Drive, according to a statement from Dixon Police Chief Danny Langloss.

Both teens were transported to the Mary Davis Juvenile Detention Center in Galesburg, Illinois, pending a court appearance in Lee County, according to the statement.

Langloss said citizens should report any suspicious activity to the Dixon Police at 815-288-4411 or to CrimeStoppers at 1-888-228-4488. Callers do not have to leave their names and are eligible for rewards of up to $1000 with information leading to an arrest.
