A Virginia mother says her son remembers the 1983 death of a U.S. Marine as his own death.

Michele Lucas says her four-year-old son, Andrew, recalls memories and says things that no one his age should know according to our sister station WTKR.

Andrew’s “memories” appeared to be connected to U.S. Marine Sgt. Val Lewis, who was one of a group of Marines that died in a bombing explosion October 23, 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon. Producers of the TV show “Ghost Inside My Child” helped the Lucas family make the connection.

Andrew’s “memories” have included hysterical crying episodes and asking why he was allowed to die in that fire.

Lucas said she thought a visit to Lewis’ grave might help put Andrew’s emotional outbursts, and the memories, to rest. Instead of closure, the memories and odd occurrences continued and Lewis considered finding a psychic to help.
