Thousands of people have already voted in Scott and Rock Island County, prior to the general election on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.

Scott County Auditor Roxanna Moritz told us that 29,000 people have already voted in Scott County. In Rock Island County, about 16,000 people have done the same. Regardless, Moritz and Rock Island County Clerk Karen Kinney are both hoping for good turnout on Tuesday.

Moritz also told us that early voting numbers could actually be larger this year, than the real turnout on election day, in Scott County. In Illinois, the polls closed at 7 p.m. In Iowa, the polls close at 9 p.m.
