What you’ll see at the 2014 Festival of Trees

Holiday themed dances, displays and a parade are all part of the annual Festival of Trees.

Holiday themed dances, displays and a parade are all part of the annual Festival of Trees.

The event raises millions of dollars for Quad City Arts, a non-profit organization which promotes arts in the Quad Cities area.

Art by area high school students will be one of many displays at the Festival of Trees. Gift baskets designed by area celebrities and dignitaries are raffled at the festival; books on the Book Tree and toys on the Toy Tree are donated after the festival.

Annual traditions including the Festival of Trees Holiday Parade, daily visits from Santa and the Talking Tree will also return in 2014. Trees designed by a variety of designers, from children to design pros, will be on display throughout the event.

Festival of Trees opens to the public Friday, November 21, 2014 and it is open through Sunday, November 30. General admission tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for seniors and $3 for children ages 2 to 10.
