With one day until Election Day,  the Scott County Republican headquarters office was packed with people, as several candidates stopped in for a victory rally.

Iowa Governor Terry Branstad, U.S. Senate Candidate Joni Ernst, Congressional candidate Mariannette Miller-Meeks, State Auditor Mary Mosiman and Attorney General Candidate Adam Gregg were among those asking for the crowd's vote.

"I've never felt more positive about the Republican ticket. It's the best ticket we've ever had," said Governor Branstad, "Ya know, we have a hardworking group of people that have really demonstrated what we can do in Iowa and we have a couple of women that we want to send to Washington D.C. to turn that around as well."

One of those woman, Joni Ernst, made a stop at the Scott County GOP office as part of a 24-hour non-stop campaign push.

"We are pushing out on a 24-hour tour that started at 7 a.m. morning," said Ernst.

An average of all polls from Real Clear Politics has Ernst up nearly two points over her opponent Congressman Bruce Braley.

"I feel really good.  I feel really good about where we are," said Ernst.

With one day left in the tight race, the focus has been on comments made by Senator Tom Harkin, who last week said he didn't want Ernst to get his seat just because she's "really attractive and she sounds nice," and "I don't care if she's as good looking as Taylor Swift or as nice as Mr. Rogers, but if she votes like Michelle Bachmann, she's wrong for the State of Iowa."

"I was initially offended, but you know what? As Taylor swift says, 'Shake it off!'" said Ernst.

Shaking it off and turning her attention to what is left of her campaign.

"We're going to win this seat, but we've gotta push really hard," she said.
