Second man arrested in connection with Knox County burglaries

The second of two suspects wanted in connection with a string of burglaries in Knox County has been arrested.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said that 24-year-old Johnathan D. Rigg was taken into custody in Mountain View, Arkansas around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014.

Rigg was wanted on two felony arrest warrants that stemmed from a burglary investigation in Galesburg and Knox County. The other person wanted in the investigation, 31-year-old Dustin Johnson, was captured on Wednesday, October 22.

Johnson was arrested in Galesburg and held in the Knox County Jail in lieu of $750,000 bond.

Also arrested with Rigg on Thursday was 23-year-old Khelsey L. Johnson, on a warrant for unlawful aiding a fugitive and obstructing justice, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. Both were held in the Stone County Jail in Arkansas awaiting extradition.
