Funeral plans have been made for Brenda Gordon, the mother of Trudy Appleby, who was struck and killed crossing a Moline roadway.
Gordon died Friday, October 10, 2014 when she was struck by a van crossing Avenue of the Cities. The crash came just weeks after an annual candle light vigil for her daughter, Trudy.
Trudy was just 11 years old when she went missing from her father’s yard in Moline in 1996.
The visitation was set for Tuesday, October 14 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd. in East Moline, according to the obituary. The funeral was planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the burial in Greenview Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the family.
