Three of News 8’s own danced for charities of their choosing at the annual Dancing with the QC Stars competition.

The event was hosted by the Arthur Murray Dance Studio Sunday, October 12, 2014.

Jason Fechner danced for Gilda’s Club, Brittany Lewis danced for Dress for Success, and Angie Sharp danced for the Quad Cities Missing Persons Network.

Every dollar donated was one vote.

And this year’s winner – Angie Sharp! Which means the Quad Cities Missing Persons Network raised the most money at the event.

“It was great,” said Brittney’s instructor/partner. “I mean, lots of energy. She had a good time doing it and it was a lot of fun.”

“I had a super fun time working with him,” said Danyelle Pinkerton, who danced with Jason. “He is hilarious.”
