A fire in Davenport destroyed a garage and a car parked inside.
The Davenport Fire Chief said the fire was reported around 9 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2014. Firefighters quickly put out the blaze, on West 15th Street, but a detached garage and car inside were both destroyed.
There is no known cause of the fire, but an investigation was underway Sunday night.
