A 24-year-old woman from East Moline, Illinois, was sentenced to 17 years in prison after she arranged sexual encounters between other people and a 14-year-old girl.
Police said Danielle A. Johnson, of East Moline, arranged the meetings at various locations in Iowa and Illinois.
She "was arranging meetings with the 14-year-old juvenile and various subjects for the purpose of exchanging sexual acts for money," said a statement from Moline Police Department Lt. John Hitchcock.
Johnson was arrested July 17, 2014. Court records showed Johnson was originally charged with involuntary sexual servitude of a minor, plus three counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a minor. The latter charges were dismissed when Johnson pleaded guilty September 26, 2014, to the involuntary sexual servitude charge.
Johnson was sentenced to 17 years in prison, to be followed by three years of mandatory supervised release.
