How you can become a Salvation Army bell ringer

Volunteer bell ringers can begin signing up for the Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign as of October 1, 2014.

Volunteer bell ringers can begin signing up for the Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign as of October 1, 2014.

Bell ringers work two hour shifts at a variety of locations, and indoor locations are available. Shifts are available from November 7 through December 24, 2014, excluding Sundays.

Bell ringing sites are available in Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island, Moline, East Moline, Silvis and Milan.

The Red Kettle Campaign has been an annual tradition since 1891.
