Police said they made a half-dozen arrests following a fight at Davenport Central High School.

“The disturbance originated in Davenport Central High School’s cafeteria,” according to a spokesperson for the Davenport Police Department, “but was out of the school and on Main Street prior to our arrival.”  Police were called to the school at about 8 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2014.

Four juveniles and two adults were arrested, the spokesman said.

Jail records showed 47-year-old James Bailey spent about an hour in the Scott County Jail before he was released after posting $5,000 bond.   Police charged him with felony going armed with intent.

Jamezaria Bailey, 18, was released on $5,300 bond after she spent less than 45 minutes in the Scott County Jail.  Police charged her with felony assault with intent and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Police did not immediately release details of what led to the fight or to the arrests.

No injuries that required medical attention were reported, the police spokesman said.
