Kohl's department stores announced plans to hire more than 67,000 workers across the U.S. for the 2014 holiday season.
That translates to an average of 50 seasonal associates to be hired per Kohl's store in the U.S.
In addition to those store positions, the company planned to hire about 9,300 seasonal workers at U.S. distribution centers and about 670 seasonal credit operations workers, according to a spokesperson for Kohl's.
Hiring for store positions began in September and the company expected to fill most of the seasonal jobs by mid-November.
