The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the party’s political arm in the U.S. Senate, launched an ad on television and online targeting Joni Ernst’s position on privatizing Social Security.
Ernst is a Republican running against Democrat candidate Congressman Bruce Braley to represent Iowa in the U.S. Senate.
The ad, called “Talked,” claims Ernst has talked about privatizing Social Security and that she has the backing of the Koch brothers who, the ad claims, have “spent millions trying to privatize Social Security” and “millions more” trying to elect Ernst.
