When you're tailgating, it's usually hot dogs, brats, and burgers.

Those who are a little more adventurous may make ribs, steaks, or chicken.

But for our tailgate, we're making gourmet pizzas.  And topping it off with dessert pizzas.

Think of it this way: now everyone can be their own chef and still enjoy the game!

To make the individual pizzas,  just precook and package the ingredients at home and pack it on ice for the trip.   Making the ingredients earlier saves you time at the cook-out.

You can use Boboli pizza crusts for the individual pizzas.

Think of items like ground beef, chicken slices, ham, bacon, sausage, shrimp and other items you think everyone will love.

Don't forget the cheese: Parmesan, mozzarella, and provolone.

Nor the veggies: broccoli, mushrooms, onions, and peppers.

On your grill, use one burner for a stone that should be heated for 15 to 20-minures before using.  On the other, a screen for even heating of the pizzas.

Cook pizzas for 15 to 20-minutes per pizza.

And don't forget the dessert pizzas!

For this, Chef Scott starts with Mama Mary's gourmet flat pizza crusts.

Top this off with Trader Joe's cookie butter spread.

Use Hershey's mini-chocolates.

Add banana slices and Marshmallows.

Cook each pizza for six to seven minutes

Pour a little bourbon (for the adults) or honey (for the kids) to give it that extra taste.

Grilling doesn't have to be the same old barbecue.  Now you can bring the great taste of pizza to your tailgate and watch everybody else drool with envy!
