We are finally feeling the summer heat, but there's all kinds of ways to stay cool.

From golfing, splashing around at Schwiebert Park, to watching a River Bandits baseball game, all people we talked to say the key is to stay hydrated, find some shade and take it easy.

The Moline High School boys football team felt the heat at practice today, however lucky for them it was the perfect day to do an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to cool themselves off.

"It felt amazing, best thing ever," said football player, Brad Butcher.

Both Trinity and Genesis say they have treated people with heat related illnesses. They say the best thing to do is not to overexert yourself in the heat, make sure to stay hydrated and also remember to check in on the elderly.
