Firefighters are trying to figure out what caused a barn to go up in flames on Saturday afternoon.
On August 23rd, 2014, five different fire departments from around the area responded to the fire, located at 3062-215th Street in DeWitt, Iowa.
Investigators say the barn is a total loss, but there wasn't any equipment inside and no one was hurt.
However, DeWitt Fire Chief Bob Sandry said the only challenge firefighters faced was the weather.
"The biggest thing today is obviously the humidity," he said. "The heat stress on firefighters, trying to rotate guys in and out to make sure they get their coats opened up, and make sure they get to rehab. We got DeWitt Ambulance here, which is a great support for a day like today with the humidity as high as it is. It's just hard on the guys."
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
