An additional arrest has been made in the shooting of a Davenport man that happened this summer.
Davenport Police say Scott County Sheriff's Office Detectives and Davenport Police Department Officers arrested 38-year-old Terrace Tyrone Perkins from Davenport on Friday, August 22nd, 2014.
On July 28th, 2014, police say 43-year-old Gabriel Almanza was shot in the 20,000 block of 210th Street in rural Scott County. To see the story, click here.
According to a press release, officers took Perkins into custody after "a foot pursuit in the 6400 block of N. Harrison Street."
Perkins has been charged with Robbery 1st Degree, a Class B Felony. He is being held in the Scott County Jail on a cash bond of $300,000.00.
During the arrest, police also found that was Perkin was in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Additional charges were added including Possession of a Controlled Substance (Suspected of Being Marijuana), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Suspected of Being Crack Cocaine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Police say the arrest of Perkins concludes their investigation. No further arrests are expected to be made.
