Two Clinton men are accused of manufacturing meth in a Camanche home, police say.

Shortly after midnight Wednsday, August 20, 2014 Camanche Police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 500 block of 4th Avenue, according to Sgt. Richard Schmitz Jr. with the Camanche Police Department. Following the response, policeĀ  executed a search warrant and found items used in a meth lab.

Police say they seized table salt, an HCL generator, a one-pot lab, two containers with a white residue that tested positive for meth, and coffee filters, also containing a white residue.

Schmitz said 53-year-old Scott James Maydew and 47-year-old Albert Daniel Hansen were arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.
