St. Ambrose University has expanded its Center for Health Sciences.

The 13,000-sqaure-foot expansion was dedicated and blessed Thursday, August 14, 2014

Along with the expansion, St. Ambrose has added a Master of Physician Assistant Studies program that began in the summer of 2014.

School leaders said the $3.5 million project has been backed up by the community.

“The support both community and university-wide has been second to none,” said Physician Assistant program director Claire Kennedy. “I just feel so blessed with that.”

With that addition, 10 new jobs will be brought in to the university.
