Two injured during altercation with baseball bat

Two men were reportedly injured during a fight involving a baseball bat in Muscatine.

Shortly after 9 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2014, a fight involving a baseball bat was reported, according to Lieutenant Tim Hull with the Muscatine Police Department. It happened in the front yard of a home in the 400 block of Peachtree Street.

Hull said a 39-year-old man was injured and was taken to an area hospital. Another man, a 27-year-old, was injured as well but sought his own medical treatment.
