Two people were in a car when it crashed through the east side entrance to CGH Medical Center in Sterling.
The crash happened just before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 according to Sterling Police.
Frank Norman, 80, of Sterling, drove a Chevrolet HHR under the emergency room overhang, turned right and “accelerated into the building,” police said.
Norman and his wife, June, were in the car at the time of the crash. They were not injured.
The emergency room remained open, police said, and no injuries were reported. No citations were issued.
