East of the Quad Cities, a bicyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle.
A spokesperson from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office said that shortly before 10:30 a.m. a vehicle collided with a bicyclist in rural Cambridge, Illinois.
Both the bike and the vehicle were heading westbound on 1300 Avenue when the vehicle ran into the back of the bike, according to the sheriff’s department.
The bicyclist was injured and airlifted from the scene. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
