A trailer loaded with supplies for the Bix 7 events, was stranded when a small sink hole on 4th Street in downtown Davenport, Iowa.

A Walmart trailer was stranded around 8:30 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, on 4th Street just west of River Drive.   A Davenport Public Works employee said the pavement was loose and the road gave way.  He referred to it as a small, minor sink hole.

Part of 4th Street was blocked but traffic was still able to get by the activity.   That same stretch of 4th Street was slated to close Friday afternoon for Street Fest and Bix 7 activities.

A tow truck was able to move the trailer.

No injuries were reported.
