Crews continued their work at John Deere Road weeks after part of the roadway buckled, setting back their progress.
In the beginning of July 2014 the construction of an overpass on John Deere Road at 38th Street in Moline suffered a setback when part of the bridge on the north side of the road buckled.
A spokesperson from the Illinois Department of Transportation said that the department was working with contractors to make a plan to correct the earth wall north of John Deere Road. It is estimated that 40-50 percent of the wall will need to be reconstructed.
The project was on track to be completed in November.
