A pair of Illinois teens have been arrested after a weekend home invasion.

Around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014, Sterling police were called to a home in the 1500-block of Griswold Avenue. Witnesses told police that three males pushed their way into the home and beat a juvenile victim, who was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officers arrested Blake B. Elliott of Sterling, Illinois, and Austin M. Cox, of Rock Falls, Illinois, for home invasion and battery. The 18-year-olds were taken to the Whiteside County Jail.

Police said the suspects and victim knew each other and had an ongoing dispute between them.

The Sterling Police Department is still looking for the third suspect, a juvenile who lives in the Sterling/Rock Falls area.
