A Scott County family is out of their home after a house fire near Princeton, Ia.
It happened at 26658 277th Avenue around 3 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2014. The home is near 278th Avenue and Great River Road.
It took crews about two hours to put out the blaze. 278th Avenue was blocked off earlier in the morning, but it has since been re-opened. The family was able to escape the blaze without any injuries.
The fire caused damage to the back of the house. Crews say the smoke detectors inside the home went off, when the fire started.
