Every kid’s dream came true after a baseball game at Modern Woodmen Park.

After the Quad Cities River Bandits finished up their game at the Davenport ballpark Sunday, July 20, 2014, a helicopter flew over the field dropping candy and marshmallows into the outfield.
"It's something we're really proud of," said River Bandits General Manager Andrew Chesser. "We've won a handful of awards for it They say people taking ideas is the best form of flattery and there's dozens of minor league teams around the country that now do this event and we're proup to say we're the first ones."
