A Rock Island man has been arrested in connection with the reported robbery of the Cash Store in Moline.
Moline Police said that on Friday, July 18, 2014 shortly at 3:11 p.m., a call came in reporting a robbery at the Cash Store at 921 41st Avenue Drive.
“Immediate and overwhelming response by Moline Patrol Officers and Detectives surrounded the subject in a large area around John Deere Expressway near the business in Moline,” said Detective Scott Williams with the Moline Police.
Officers searched and located the suspect, 27-year-old Roman T. Lloyd, according to Williams. Williams said officers recovered a backpack with clothes in the area and also found the suspect’s getaway vehicle with the help of the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department.
Lloyd was taken to the Rock Island County Jail, charged with aggravated robbery.
