A few months ago he was posting pictures to his facebook of quite a few hundred dollar bills. He had lost his job and wasn’t working to which he attributed his ptsd. Then all of a sudden he had tons of money, was getting lasik and wrist surgery, bought a new car, and a plot of land. It all made me somewhat suspicious since he didn’t have a job, but he told me it was money from his V.A. back-pay. Now, looking back on it, I’m not so sure. Maybe this isn’t the first time? It’s unfortunate that he resorted to this. He and I have been friends for quite some time. I hope he takes responsibility for his actions and learns from them.
