A citywide boil order issued for Kewanee has been lifted.
On Friday, July 18, 2014 a spokesperson from the City of Kewanee Water system advised that the boil order was cancelled.
“Bacteriological testing conducted system-wide later in the day on July 17, 2014 showed no threat to public health from consumption of the water,” said a spokesperson from the water system. “Thus, the boil advisory is cancelled.”
