Police hoped someone could help identify an armed man who allegedly robbed the Cash Store in Silvis.

The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash after he “displayed a dark-colored handgun” and held up Cash Store, 1600 John Deere Road, Suite C, at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014, police said.

The robber was described as a white man, 6-feet 1-inch tall with a medium build.  He wore a light-colored ball cap with a dark bill, a bandanna over his face and a dark green two-piece rain suit over his clothes.

The suspect was last seen walking west along the north side of the store.

No injuries were reported.
