Crews removed flood protection barriers on River Drive and planned to complete cleanup to reopen the road in Davenport.
Most of that cleanup work was expected to be complete by Monday evening, July 14, 2014.
Westbound lanes of River Drive were to be closed most of the day Tuesday, July 15, between Marquette and Warren streets, as crews removed damaged trees and the remaining flood protection barriers along that stretch of River Drive.
The Freight House Farmer's Market was also expected to return to its normal location Tuesday, July 15.
Credit Island access was still restricted.
"With river levels predicted to remain above 15 feet through Wednesday, July 16th, it's expected that Credit Island will not reopen to the public any earlier than Monday, July 21st," said a statement from the City of Davenport Public Works Department.
Parts of LeClaire Park, and the bike paths along the riverfront and between Marquette and Credit Island, were not expected to reopen until after July 21.
Also Tuesday, crews will close one westbound lane of Locust Street from Ripley to Brady Street. That construction will last until August 18, 2014.
