Brian Harman wins 2014 John Deere Classic

Brian Harman is the 2014 John Deere Classic champion.

The Georgia-native finished up the tournament at 22-under par. He started out the final round strong, making par on holes 1, 3, and 4 and an eagle on 2. After a bogey on hole five, Harman was still in the lead, but only by one stroke.

He made birdies on four holes on the back nine and bogeyed on hole 18. He finished the round at 66.

This was the first PGA championship for 27-year-old Harman. So far this year, Harman has had one 3rd place finish and five in the top 10. He has been playing in the PGA Tour since 2004.

Zach Johnson battled Harman all day, sometimes joining the champion in the top spot. Johnson finished up the tournament at 21-under par.
